A crossover with all-wheel drive was not a novelty in this class. It was equipped with a hybrid powerplant with the latest system. In 2007, this car was first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Appearance
The dimensions of the BMW X6 E71 with 4.88 meters in length, 1.98 meters in width and 1.7 meters in height seem decent. The body design, however, seems unique, as the roof line drops noticeably against the rest of the car. Only 2 full-fledged passengers can be seated on the second row. The exterior appearance is pretty good, some of the exterior mirror inserts and the roof seems very correct. Additional electronics to trigger the heated and swiveling headlights help keep you on the road properly. The rear end was originally designed in a different variant, but eventually the developers decided to change it to suit the needs of motorists. The dodger of BMW X6 E71 looks quite good.
In order to make the look of the series start to look different, the developers changed the front of the car. Fog lights were spread to the maximum width and began to be located on the outer part of the body. Also, a matte type framing was used for them. Engine
Let’s take a closer look at the engines of the BMW X6 E71. The 50i configuration provides an engine with V8 and 4.4 liters of volume. It also presents a turbocharged supercharger and a maximum power of 407 horsepower at 5500 rpm. This motor can accelerate the car to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.4 seconds. The maximum speed in it is limited to 250 kilometers per hour. 35i received an engine with V6 and 3 liters of volume. It also has 306 horsepower of power at 5800 rpm. All this helps to accelerate the car to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.7 seconds. But the maximum allowable speed here is 240 kilometers per hour. The average fuel consumption is 10.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
The 3.0 diesel version of the BMW X6 E71 and 30d has an R6 powertrain with 3 liters of volume, turbocharged supercharger and direct injection system. In addition, there is also a 3.5d, but this variant is not so common in the market. The car, on the other hand, gets a real level of luxury when all these parameters are utilized. It also gets the character of sport and the spirit of freedom. But the 4.0 engine when frosty, jumps revs while starting, making it the worst option. There are 245 horses in this variant. If the engine temperature is no more than 78 degrees, the car runs fine. Tuning the BMW X6 E71 does not particularly improve the results, but it slightly improves the power. Chip BMW X6 E71 provides drivers with an excellent improvement in parameters.
Electronics

The length of the car equals 4.877 meters, width here reaches 1.983 meters, and the height reaches 1.699 meters. The wheelbase here is used with 2.933 meters, front track 1.644 and rear track 1.706 perfectly allow the vehicle to move. The ground clearance here is not bad, it reaches 212 millimeters. The fuel tank has a volume of 85 liters. And here the trunk in the minimum position has a volume of 570 liters, with folded rear seats it increases immediately to 1450 liters. The mass of the car is equal to 2145 kilograms, cargo lifting capacity is at the level of 600 kilograms. But the maximum weight can be 2840 kilograms.
Options
All-wheel drive models use the xDrive inscription in the name as well. The BMW Performance X6 E71 looks good. This inscription is also present in the 50i. Diesel versions have finally started using a detoxification suite of technologies. This helped the car to fit the Euro 6 standards that came into force in 2014.
