BMW X2 F39

Car manufacturers in recent years have been actively seeking to expand their product lines. Despite the overcrowding of the car market and a large number of competitors, companies are trying to introduce innovative ideas with minimal costs. One such vivid example is the development of the Bavarian concern – BMW X2 F39 2018.

Initially, the BMW X2 F39 is supposed to be equipped with three modifications of BMW Twin Power Turbo power units:

• xDrive25d – the all-wheel drive version is equipped with a powerful two-liter turbodiesel unit. The motor is able to squeeze out a maximum of 231 horses. The unit comes with an eight-range automatic transmission. The average diesel consumption varies between 5.1 and 5.3 liters. The car starts up to a hundred in just 6.7 seconds.

In addition, in the future, manufacturers are expected to introduce several additional motor modifications:

• sDrive18i is a front-wheel drive version equipped with a three-cylinder gasoline engine capable of developing a maximum power of 140 horsepower. The unit will be equipped with a seven-speed robotized transmission or an automatic transmission.
• sDrive18d – modification with front-wheel drive. 150-horsepower diesel unit has a working capacity of 2.0 liters. The car is supposed to be equipped with a manual or automatic, based on the preferences of the motorist.
• The xDrive18d is an all-wheel drive version powered by a two-liter diesel-powered engine. The engine squeezes out 150 horses and works in tandem with an eight-band automatic transmission.
• xDrive20i – all-wheel drive modification is equipped with a four-cylinder unit. The two-liter motor accelerates up to 192 hp and is equipped with a robotized transmission.

As for the sporty versions of the F39, they are equipped with a powerful four-cylinder gasoline engine capable of developing up to 306 horsepower. The body of the charged version is adorned with the trademark logo “M”, embodying dynamic qualities, high level of control. The motor works in tandem with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The gearbox has additional functions, thanks to which there is a smooth transfer of power characteristics from the motor to the wheels without losses. Such technical characteristics of sports versions of the model allow to start up to 100 km in only 4.9 seconds. In addition, a modified cooling system in the engine design ensures stability and continuity of its operation.

Interior

The interior of the BMW X2 F39 bears an almost absolute resemblance to its predecessor. For this model, the interior trim is supposed to be made of anthracite fabric. Ergonomics of the car is at a height, pronounced chairs embody sportiness. There is no lumbar support, but there is lateral adjustable support and heating. The high seating position provides maximum visibility, as well as the ability to control situations during driving.

The design of the dashboard is also similar to X1. Premium class of the car is felt even in the simplest modification.
